My name is Erik Elsasser & my wife is Alicia Elsasser and we are Spokane and San Francisco, destination-wedding photographers. We specialize in elegant photography, and creative bridal portraits and we use our documentary style to capture your wedding day as the events unfold. We may be best known for our bright airy wedding portraits, natural timeless color and our commitment to excellent customer service. We have photographed over 100 weddings together since 2007 across the USA. Each wedding is unique and we work diligently to create beautiful images that document your day as the story unfolds, elegant detail pictures, gorgeous portraits, and fantastic reception images that tell your story and show off who your family and friends are.

Best Wedding Photographers in Spokane

Serving urban and rural Spokane, Spokane Valley, Rockford, Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, picturesque Greenbluff, Colbert, and beautiful Nine Mile Falls. Erik and I love an urban downtown wedding that celebrates the city lights and premier banquet rooms with the beautiful Spokane River and cityscape as much as we love a glowing rural farm wedding nestled in the many wheat and open fields surrounding the Spokane area. There is a little bit of every kind of romantic you can imagine in the Inland Northwest. How about an orchard wedding in Greenbluff or Colbert? The venues nestled in the rich farmlands speak “Apple Bride” and boast the most amazing sunsets over mountain views. There is quite a lot of architectural history in our great city and some historic mansions have been hosting weddings for years, we were actually married in a beautiful mansion nestled right in the heart of the city in it’s perfectly manicured back yard surrounded by tall maple trees. Looking for something out of the ordinary? You can easily achieve a destination wedding close to home with a Lake Coeur d’Alene wedding only one-hour drive from downtown Spokane. Coeur d’Alene is nested in Idaho just before a mountain climb over passes into Montana with beautiful beaches and more amazing sunsets. If you’re up for a little more travel, Seattle is a quick five-hour drive to the west coast on the Pacific Ocean. We would love to travel with you.

Destination Wedding Photographers in San Francisco

Serving San Francisco, San Jose, Napa Valley, Sacramento, Berkeley, Mill Valley, Santa Clara, Sonoma, Walnut Creek, Belmont, Emeryville, Menlo Park, Redwood City, South San Francisco, Dublin, Vallejo, Daly City, Tracy, Brisbane, Santa Rosa, Albany, Dublin. We adore photographing on North Beach and the gorgeous sunsets from Sea Cliff to Presidio. We are familiar with wedding venues from Nob Hill, to the Mission District, China Town, The Ferry Building to North Beach. If a phenomenal wedding photographer in San Francisco is what you’re looking for, then you’ve also come to the right place. We love the vineyards of Rutherford, Oak Creek, of course Napa Valley and Lodi. We love photographing weddings from Carmel, Santa Barbara, and Palo Alto. Alicia and I met when I lived in San Bruno and Alicia lived in South San Francisco. Alicia was working in Mission Bay where I met her for our first date; we drove through Potrero Hill and went to the Mission District for a fantastic burrito at Taqueria Cancun. Alicia and I fell in love walking through the City’s North Beach, eating our way through Fisherman’s Wharf, Golden Gate Park and of course a perfect engagement backdrop of The City in Haight-Ashbury. We walked across the Golden Gate Bridge, of course stopping to photograph the windy cityscape on a superbly clear day.

Features and Photographer Reviews

Since Washington is the apple state, it’s only fitting that you can find photography features and reviews of our work on Apple Brides. Many couples find us through Wedding Wire, and of course Facebook where clients like, comment, and review their experiences with us on the widely popular and public forum. Client feedback is the highlight of our non-wedding days and a truly humbling experience to read the joy and thankfulness our brides and grooms share.

Continuing Photography Education

My husband achieved his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999 from Barry University in Miami Florida with a major in Photography and a minor in scuba diving. Talk about a fun degree! He was trained in film during the development of digital photography. Meanwhile, I was finishing up my senior year at Cusick High School investing my time in the school dark room taking photos and developing my own film for publication in the annual yearbook. It took us quite a few more years to find each other in San Francisco, but our love for photography is only surpassed by our love for each other and our family. Our experience and education is an ongoing adventure. We make a point to participate at the WPPI (Wedding Portrait Photographers International) Convention in Las Vegas ever other year. Las Vegas? Why not! We spend about four days and countless hours listening to the top wedding photographers in the world share their experiences and gems of advice and leave enriched and thoroughly inspired for the coming wedding season. We read photography books and publications as well as research informative blogs on wedding trends and exciting lighting and camera gear advancements to make sure we are on the up and up of all things current and exciting in the world of wedding photography.
